Monadh (mountain)
Product tabs
'Monadh', Gaelic for mountain, shows a spatial relationship between Munros in Scotland through a correlation between the size (/colour) of the flying geese and the number of Munros in a given area. Larger flying geese represent larger groups of Munros.
This is a beginner quilt pattern creating varying sizes of flying geese. The pattern requires that you cut and handle a lot of differently sized pieces so you need to be organised. Two colour versions of the pattern are included - multicolour flying geese and single colour flying geese. Quilt size variations correspond with changes in the block size. The Throw (48" x 60") uses 6" blocks (when finished). The Twin (64" x 80") and Queen (80" x 96") use 8" blocks and the King uses 10" blocks with a 4" border (108" x 108").
Fabric requirements are provided in Fat Quarters and 1/4 Yard on the assumption these are the minimum purchase quantities. Should you wish to make your flying geese from your existing fabric offcuts, fabric requirements can be found on the pattern notes page.
Your Digital PDF pattern will be emailed to you. An option will be provided at checkout to waive your cooling off right in order to receive your pattern within 3 days. Otherwise your order will be processed after a 14 day cooling off period.
