Seachd, meaning ‘seven’ in Gaelic (pronounced sha-ac) visualizes the stars when the Edinburgh Seven were awarded posthoumous honorary degrees from The University of Edinburgh on 6th July 2019.

Whether a celebration of achievement in the face of adversity or the recognition of the ongoing need to challenge inequality wherever it lies, we hope this data-driven pattern holds meaning for you.

The pattern contains fabric requirements, cutting and piecing instructions, and colouring charts for 3 quilt sizes: Throw (48" x 64"), Double (80" x 88"), and Queen (88" x 88").

This pattern uses y-seams and brings together 3 star block types (half square triangle star, Le Moyne star, Lone star).
