Cloud Quilting takes data as the starting point to design quilt patterns new ways. ‘Inspired’ patterns involve sorting and organising data in different ways then developing a pattern based on that data analysis. 'Personalised' patterns take data as the starting point but involve a degree of customisation by a real life person to create a bespoke pattern. ‘Data-driven’ patterns rely on topic specific algorithms to generate a quilt pattern using information you customise.
In all three approaches, data is central to the quilt design process in new and exciting new ways.
